I've been getting Houseguest requests of late, so I thought I'd remind everyone of my current plans. First, finish Coxville Curse 3. Houseguest will follow, at least one chapter or maybe I'll push through it to finish. A reminder that Christmas is my busy season and writing time is severely limited. I do have a couple free days and nights coming up, so I'm crossing my fingers that I can finish Curse 3 by the end of the year. If I do finish, it will be easier to work on comics until I get through the busy season than do any serious writing.
1) Finish Curse 3
2) Pick Houseguest back up, working on comics if little free time.
3) Some shorter one shot stories
4) Work on Curse 4
I should also add that I'm writing Son's Best Friend's Dad with every weekly 4 page update from Kaos.

ReplyDeleteIll be super honest here, the curse stories have lost all the thrill, i dont understand how people can get turned on by them, its basically one black guy finding the next hot white chick, theres no blackmailing anymore, the girls fall for it far too reasily.. the high best moment in the entire coxville series is when ivy the nurse gets turned on into sex in her office.. super hot build up... but now its like your writing stuff just so it gets turned into comics by certain artists and youve lost the essense
ReplyDeleteSorry you're not enjoying them anymore, but it's still my most popular and requested series. When I'm not working on it, all I hear from fans is when are you going to get back to Coxville? I'd prefer to be finished and working on single stories myself. As for artists, Coxville is the least likely to be illustrated with the exception of Rabies getting inspired to do a pinup or mini series. Pit's doing his own thing now on his patreon and most of the main characters are his intellectual property.

DeleteWhen theres a long build up full of deceiving, blackmailing, seducing etc, the sex moment really gets you the kicks, so much hotter and sexier.. even no-brainers no this but there lazy most of the time.. personally i think your mostly known for flag girls and when illustrated interracial started drawing it.. i became your fan then, read everything you had from then on.. i can tell you if you had more stories with slow build ups with beautiful chicks and ugly black dudes.. there wont be anyone on the net turning people on as much. btw, I know she is a side character, but I saw a couple of drawings and read your short segment on Cc2 but I found Officer Anderson pretty hot. Would be great to have her on a side story. Just a thought :)
Anderson will pop up again, but Ota had wanted to do something with her, so I was leaving it up to him. He wanted Lowbeam too. He's been absent of late with no updates on HOCC for some time now.

ReplyDeleteKeep it up. When you're not writing we're asking you to so you mind As well finish up so that we stop asking. I'm enjoying it so far. I was coming on to ask about houseguest and now I know. It's been a while is all but it makes sense to finish CC3 because of the requests and demands.
ReplyDeleteThe real reason is that it's a lot easier to write one story than to go back and forth between stories. I need now to refresh my memory on Houseguest before starting it back up and then I'd have to go back a refresh on Coxville and so on. With CC3 being close to finishing, It's quicker just to finish it up.

ReplyDeleteI totally understand all about working things through before moving on! I have a bad habit of leaving stories hanging, with no ending. It seems I just can't pull the trigger on resolution. Any advice for me?

I must apologize, I've saved your story for future reading, but haven't gotten around to it. I'm not the best to ask for advice on ending a series as I have lots of open stories that are unfinished. My best advice is to keep it simple with short one shot stories with only a few characters. The more epic you go, the more complicated it gets. Also, have an outline with a planned ending before you start the story.
DeleteNot a problem, it was one of the first stories I ever wrote. I'm sure it's a total mess. Maybe someday I'll go back and clean it up. Uncle Hank is still one of my favorite stories of all time. Thanks for the advice too, maybe I'll stop feeling so bad about leaving my stories unfinished, although my fans would definitely disagree. I'm really enjoying your Coxville series, but I really enjoy your one off stories, and the Houseguest reboot is some of the best erotic fiction I've read in a long time. Keep doing what you do!
