New story and thoughts

 So I had some writing time this week. I spent three days in the hospital with an infection that had to be surgically removed. For some reason, I picked up and finished The Wife and the Black Gardeners 3 based on Kaos' comic. I plan a fourth chapter, A Black Gardeners Wedding where Janice's daughter and granddaughter fall under the spell of the black gardeners. The story is now in the story section.

I just watched the preview for the new Dune movie. I've seen the old movie and read the first four books in the series. I was struck by how similar it is to Coxville. The Bene Gesserit's goal was to create a super being through selective breeding much as the Cox family was doing while being manipulated by Tituba. The head of the Bene Gesserit has the memories of all her previous ancestors, just as Tituba retains all her memories hopping from body to body.
